In today’s world, data breaches are a major concern for everyone. A data breach occurs when personal, financial, or sensitive information is exposed or stolen by cybercriminals. This can happen to individuals, companies, or even governments. With technology advancing quickly, these breaches are becoming more common and harder to prevent. However, both local and global efforts are being made to identify, publicize, and reduce these breaches. But as new and smarter types of cyberattacks emerge, like intelligent malware and malicious chatbots, there is a constant need to improve how we protect our data. Many countries, including the United States, have introduced laws to help fight data breaches and improve cybersecurity.
